We have a quiet, peaceful short term (Sept - Oct) tiny house rental available on our organic farm, 18 min southeast of Old Fort.
Standalone tiny house with separate kitchen and bathroom shared with one other person.
We are a working farm in McDowell County, NC. Six people currently live across 53 acres, with five working full time on the farm and one working part time. We raise annual vegetables and organic pastured meats. Throughout the season, the farm is home to chickens, turkeys, pigs, and sheep, plus 3 resident cats and 2 livestock guardian dogs. We do raise animals for meat and process on-farm, so please be aware of this. No additional outdoor pets can be accommodated.
The farm landscape is a beautiful mix of pasture (and silvopasture), vegetable gardens, woodlands, a creek, and a pond.
$500 per month for September and/or October. Includes all electricity, water, wifi, laundry.
Access to veggies and eggs from the farm.
